Sign in to the back office

Nobody has a password in OLET. You sign in to the back office with three things: your Store ID, your email address or username, and a one-time code OLET emails you.

Cashiers don’t sign in here. They sign in on the register with a PIN. See Sign in and switch users.

  1. Open the OLET sign-in page.
  2. Enter your Store ID and select Continue. It is the short name for your store, such as bakery. The page remembers it in your browser, so next time it is already filled in.
  3. Enter your Email or username and select Continue. A username is the optional one an admin set for you in User management. Everyone can use their email.
  4. Enter the Code from the email and select Continue. The page says “We sent a code to” and a partly hidden version of your address.

You land on your store’s back office. A store that hasn’t made a sale yet opens on the setup guide.

If you are already signed in on that browser, the page forwards you straight on.

  • Select Change next to your Store ID to go back and type a different one.
  • Select Use a different account on the code step to start again.
  • Select Send a new code if nothing arrives. It turns on after 30 seconds.
  1. On the first step, select Forgot your Store ID?.
  2. Enter the email you signed up with, and select Send Store ID.
  3. The page says “If that email belongs to a store, we’ve sent its Store ID.” Check your inbox, then select Back to sign in.

Your Store ID is also shown in Settings > General, with a copy button, for anyone who is already signed in.

  • “You don’t have access. Contact your store admin.” The email or username isn’t on that store, or the Store ID is wrong. Check the Store ID first, then ask an admin to check your record under Users and roles.
  • “That code didn’t work. Check it and try again.” You mistyped it. Try again.
  • “That code has expired. Send a new one.” Select Send a new code.
  • “Too many attempts. Try again later.” Wait a while before you try again.
  • “That didn’t work. Try again.” Something went wrong on the way. Try again, and if it keeps happening, email support@getolet.com.
