Frequently asked questions
Which payment providers does Olet support?
Olet supports Square, Stripe, and PayPal Zettle. Helcim (coming soon) is not available yet. Olet also accepts cash as a payment method.
Can I choose a different supported provider without replacing Olet?
Yes. Payment-provider choice is separate from the wider Olet retail management system. Provider-specific setup, account approval, and hardware requirements still apply when you change providers.
Does Olet negotiate processing rates for me?
No. You compare providers and negotiate directly with them. Olet does not set rates or guarantee that one provider will cost less than another.
Can I use the same card reader with every provider?
Do not assume so. Reader compatibility is determined by the selected payment provider. Confirm the exact device before choosing or changing a provider.
Can my store accept cash?
Yes. Cash is supported as a payment method in Olet. Checkout details such as split tender, tills, and end-of-day workflows are covered on the POS & Checkout page.
Does Olet support cash-discount or card-fee programs?
Olet lets retailers configure these workflows. Their setup and use remain subject to the payment provider's terms, card-network requirements, and applicable law.
