# Delete a tag

DELETE https://api.oletapp.com/your-store/v1/tags/{id}

Soft-deletes the tag and removes its link from every product that carried it, in one transaction, matching the behaviour of the admin app.

- Removing the link is a change to each affected product, so its `version` bumps and it reappears in the caller's next delta-sync poll.

- `404 NOT_FOUND`: the id is foreign, unknown, or already deleted.
