# Delete a brand

DELETE https://api.oletapp.com/your-store/v1/brands/{id}

Soft-deletes the brand and nulls `brand_id` on every product that referenced it, in one transaction, matching the behaviour of the admin app.

- Because a product row that changes gets a new `version`, deleting a brand used by many products re-versions all of them at once, and they will all reappear in the caller's next delta-sync poll.

- `404 NOT_FOUND`: the id is foreign, unknown, or already deleted.
